Hotels The Woodlands
There are roughly 40 hotels, motels and resorts in and around The Woodlands, Texas, at a wide range of pricing options. The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center was the first hotel to be built alongside The Woodlands Waterway followed by The Westin, The Woodlands.
Located within the boundaries of Market Street and just across Six Pines Drive from The Woodlands Mall, is the Hyatt Market Street Hotel. Formally known as the Avia, it is in the heart of the Town Center Shopping District and is within walking distance of a multitude of options for entertainment, shopping, and dining. Many other hotels, suites and extended stay studios can be found within a two mile radius from Town Center. There are some newer hotel accommodations in the rear of The Woodlands as well, along the FM 2978/FM 1488 corridor in Magnolia.
Whether you're traveling here for business or pleasure; live here or want to arrange a room for the relatives during the holidays, or are in town for an extended stay while looking for a place to call home, you are sure to find the perfect hotel accommodations here in The Woodlands. Wondering how can you save money on your family's vacation costs? Hotel food can be quite costly so TWE! has the most comprehensive listing of kids eat free restaurants in The Woodlands. The high cost of feeding the entire family can be lowered by visiting our restaurant directory before you head out. Additionally, some hotels and resorts are beginning to increase offers for parents with "kids eat free" promotions and we will have those listed as well. Family-friendly pricing is nothing new at Holiday Inn. Reportedly, Holiday Inn pioneered the "Kids Eat Free" concept in 1993, and nearly two decades later, kids 12 and under still eat free at some 900 Holiday Inn properties throughout the Americas. The Woodlands' hotels, resorts and extended stay properties include approximately 4,000 rooms available for occupancy. Throughout the country there are many hotels and motels (including Ritz-Carlton, Westin, some Sheraton, Le Meridien and Marriott properties) offering a 'boatload' of free, or kid-friendly excursions and outings in addition to the "kids eat free" deal. At certain Marriott hotels including their Courtyard, Residence Inn, Renaissance, and Marriott Resort properties such as the Orlando World Center Marriott, the Escape! Family package lets kids 12 and under eat free at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The deal includes a free pizza party, including in-room movie rental, pizza and beverages. (Tip: This kind of "soft" deal is sometimes promoted in a low-key way. Be sure to check out the hotel's special offers web page, and ask about family deals when you reserve your room.)
