The Woodlands Pavilion Concerts
While I-45 is the most direct route to The Woodlands Pavilion, there are other paths depending on your original location. FM 1488 and FM 2978 both travel along the border of the master planned community. Primary access from 2978 is The Woodlands Parkway with a secondary route would be Research Forest Drive. From FM 1488, you could get to the pavilion by turning at either FM 2978, Kuykendahl road, or even College Park Drive (SH 242) then allowing for an additional turn on Gosling Road or proceed on to I45, turning on to one of several different streets all leading into The Woodlands.
Get to the Pavilion from Conroe / North of The Woodlands
From Interstate 45 South, exit at Research Forest Drive/Tamina Road (Shenandoah, Texas), or The Woodlands Parkway/Woodlands Mall exit. From the Research Forest exit, turn right at the traffic light and proceed west towards Grogan's Mill Road. Turning left onto any of the streets prior to or at Grogan's Mill Road and proceeding south will take you towards The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. It is recommended that you turn at Grogan's Mill road and go south where you will begin to see personnel directing you into one of the various free Woodlands Pavilion parking lots. Eat & Drink before the concert
Should you exit at the Lake Woodlands Drive exit (next exit after Research Forest) you can then turn right (west) on any of the streets leading into The Woodlands (Lake Woodlands Drive Lake Robbins Drive, and Timberloch Place) as all of them will take you in the direction of Town Center. Turning on Timberloch Place (the final street before Woodlands Parkway) is the most direct route to CWMP, and will take you to the free parking lots.
If you are headed for the Gold lot (paid parking) as well as the free handicapped parking (with placard or plates) in the Gold and Silver (satellite) lots, from the southbound feeder (I45) turn right on Lake Robbins Drive (the street with the green suspension bridge); this is the most direct route to those lots.
Parking at The Woodlands Pavilion
Navigating to the Pavilion Parking lots once you have entered The Woodlands Town Center area is typically marked with temporary, folding signs in between traffic lanes, at various intersections as well as CWMP personnel and Montgomery County Sheriff deputies.
