Hocus Pocus Pops!

Hocus Pocus Pops Symphony

An evening of spooky sounds and creepy creatures awaits for goblins and ghouls of all ages at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion! Houston Symphony conductor Lucus Waldin mesmerizes the audience into a nightmarish performance of horrifying horns, bewitching bassoons, and chilling cellos.
Daddies, mummies and all the little ghosts and goblins are invited to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume for a chance to walk on stage during the concert; the first 100 boys and girls to check in at Hocus Pocus Central in the North Plaza, fully costumed, get the chance to march in the Goblin Parade (wristbands are required to participate in the Goblin Parade). Or jump on the Great Pumpkin Express as it leaves the station to sweep you away on a tour of The Pavilion’s haunted grounds.

Train rides aboard the Great Pumpkin Express begin at 5:30 in the Gold Lot. Haunting the plazas before dusk are pre-concert activities, starting when the gates open at 6:00 PM.
Hocus Pocus Pops is Friday, October 12, 2018 at The Pavilion. Tickets for the orchestra seating (sections 101, 102, 103 and the pit) are only $20, with all other seats, and the lawn, free of charge. As always, plenty of free parking is available.
