Family friendly activities could include bowling at either Main Event or the Woodlands Bowling Center, or rent one of a wide range of watercraft on Lake Woodlands from the Riva Row Boat House.
If none of the five individual village park splash pads aren't enough water fun, try Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown in Spring for beating the summer heat.

Free Live Music Events
The Woodlands Pavilion isn't the only place to see, hear, and feel live music and get in some good people-watching. There are several venues for live music in the area including free events at Northshore Park, Waterway Square, and in other parts of The Woodlands. Dosey Doe offers live musical acts (most with cover charges, but some free). And of course, there is the ever popular 'dinner and a movie' plan with some 400+ dining options and 22 screens between two Cinemark locations in Town Center.
Go to The Park
Public Parks are also great for outdoor family activities. Bring along a football or a frisbee to toss around, a soccer ball to kick back and forth or even a basketball. These items are fun in a small group, but even better if you can get together with others and make a game out of it. Bring along something as simple as a kite on a windy day, hop on a bike, or jog along the more than 200 miles of concrete* pathways. Wheel Friendly Parks are available for trick bikes, skateboards and roller skates which are located in several different villages. Millbend Linear Loop in Grogan's Mill Village is a softer, asphalt jogging path.
The Woodlands Pavilion offers more than the typical Concert in The Woodlands. As part of The Center For The Performing Arts, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion (CWMP) holds educational outreach as an integral part of their mission. A Non-Profit Organization, The Pavilion has developed programs to support fine arts students, offer academic and social incentives, foster new audiences and provide community enrichment opportunities.
