Pavilion ParkingWritten by The-Woodlands-Guide
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion provides their guests with free parking in lighted and patrolled lots located nearby The Pavilion. Though event details vary, these parking lots, and the gates, typically open 90 minutes prior to most performances. Any plans to drive and arriver earlier will likely require parking elsewhere, such as at the nearby Woodlands Mall. Though event details vary, the afore-mentioned parking lots, and the gates, open 90 minutes prior to most performances. Pre-paid, VIP Parking is available for guests who want the closest possible parking at The Woodlands Pavilion. Due to the VIP lot being directly behind the pavilion's stage, the vehicles in the VIP lot have the opportunity to exit before the vast majority of other attendees. And that means you can stay until the house lights are turned up.
The Woodlands Pavilion
The Woodlands Pavilion strives to create an enjoyable experience for all of our guests. Guests with disabilities who are visiting The Pavilion may find the following information helpful. Please note, that while we make every effort to accommodate guests with disabilities, designated parking spaces are limited. Available in the Gold lot, these permit-only parking spaces are first come, first served but, there are several available. Reserved seating is available in designated areas for guests requiring accessible seating. You can purchase Gold Lot tickets at The Pavilion Box Office or online through Ticketmaster.

On January 1, 2022, Texas Senate Bill 792 will require any vehicle parking in a designated disabled parking space to have a valid disabled parking placard or a license plate with the International Symbol of Access (ISA). Citizens that have Disabled Veteran license plates that do not have the ISA will need to apply for a disabled parking placard or apply for a new DV plate with the ISA. Applications can be submitted at the county tax assessor-collector’s office.

The free parking lots are connected to The Pavilion via pathways with colored coded signs all leading to the Pavilion. Much of the nearby, "free" parking is not available for those attending events at The Pavilion, such as the surface lots at Market Street and the Market Street parking garage. The Market Street parking area is normally patrolled by security personnel both on foot and in security vehicles; parking violators could be towed. Other nearby areas, such as The Woodlands Mall parking lot as well as the parking garage next to Tinseltown 17, also do not allow for parking at concerts and other events at The Pavilion. The pavilion do not park in areas that are posted as unavailable to attendees of Pavilion events.
When it comes to getting to the pavilion from the assorted concert parking areas, the most obvious solution is to walk. Take note of which parking lot you are in - Blue lot, Green lot, Yellow lot, Orange lot, or the pre-paid Gold lot and follow the signs to the pavilion. In recent years, we have seen a few American-Rickshaw type services. The bicycle-taxi drivers appear to be operated (in recent years) by more than once service and we are not aware of the cost for a ride back and forth between the pavilion and the various parking lots or parking garages. Once arrived at the Pavilion Gates, here's how to locate your seat(s).
