The Village of Cochran's Crossing The Woodlands Texas

Cochran’s Crossing was founded in 1983 and named after the Cochran family in Montgomery County that once co-owned the Grogan-Cochran Lumber Company and much of the timbering land that became The Woodlands location of The (then) Woodlands High School. Like Grogan's Mill Village, Cochran's Crossing was also named after the Grogan-Cochran Lumber Mill. Cochran's Crossing is located in the lower mid section of The Woodlands, just above Bear Branch Sports Fields and the huge, Bear Branch Park / Sports fieldare nestled in northern edge of the heavily wooded village. Bear Branch Park includes a 2018-renovated Dog Park (one for larger dogs as well as one for smaller breeds), illuminated tennis courts, skate board/trick bike / wheel friendly area, the whale pool, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, picnic areas, a hockey ring, and the Township's Original Recreation Center.

This expansive, established village (1983) is the home of The Woodlands Country Club and the 27-hole Palmer golf course. Exemplary schools, several large parks, and a village shopping center make Cochran’s Crossing a very centralized and convenient location for family living.
