Panther Creek Village is home to more than 5,000 homes and close to 14,000 residents. The village is named for Panther Creek; an actual waterway which runs through the village and borders the western shore of Lake Woodlands, and includes several waterfront neighborhoods, and two waterfront parks. Public Parks in Panther Creek
Along the northern and southern banks of Lake Woodlands lie Northshore and Southshore Parks, two of the most scenic locales in The Woodlands. The pavilion at Southshore Park overlooks “Rise of the Midgard Serpent,” affectionately referred to by residents as “the dragon.” Northshore Park is the site for the annual YMCA Dragon Boat Races and the Community Associations’ “Concerts in the Park” series each spring and summer.
