The Most Popular Things to do in The Woodlands Texas

Summer-time in southeast Texas is known for heat and humidity, so when it comes to indoor activities, The Woodlands Downtown area has a wide variety of things to do. During the school year and after, tweens can attend events at The Gorilla Hole and assorted spring break events. And during the summer months, there are a number of summer camps across the area. Family friendly activities could include bowling at either Main Event or the Woodlands Bowling Center, or rent one of a wide range of watercraft on Lake Woodlands from the Riva Row Boat House.
If none of the five individual village park splash pads aren't enough water fun, try Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown in Spring for beating the summer heat.

Add it all up and there are a lot of Things To Do in The Woodlands; and many of them are FREE! The Woodlands is constantly expanding so come back and visit The Woodlands Events to keep up-to-date on the happenings, events and attractions in The Woodlands!

Public Parks are also great for outdoor family activities. Bring along a football or a frisbee to toss around, a soccer ball to kick back and forth or even a basketball. These items are fun in a small group, but even better if you can get together with others and make a game out of it. Bring along something as simple as a kite on a windy day, hop on a bike, or jog along the more than 200 miles of concrete* pathways. Wheel Friendly Parks are available for trick bikes, skateboards and roller skates which are located in several different villages. Millbend Linear Loop in Grogan's Mill Village. Many joggers and walkers prefer the softer-surface-asphalt provides.
