During the school year and after, tweens can attend events at The Gorilla Hole and assorted spring break events. And during the summer months, there are a number of summer camps across the area. Family friendly activities could include bowling at either Main Event or the Woodlands Bowling Center, or rent one of a wide range of watercraft on Lake Woodlands from the Riva Row Boat House. If the village park splash pads and or the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center isn't enough water fun, try Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown in Spring for beating the summer heat.

Go to The Park
Parks are also great for outdoor family activities. Bring along a football or a frisbee to toss around, a soccer ball to kick back and forth or even a basketball. These items are fun in a small group, but even better if you can get together with others and make a game out of it. Bring along something as simple as a kite on a windy day, hop on a bike, or jog along the more than 200 miles of concrete pathways. Wheel Friendly Parks are available for trick bikes, skateboards and roller skates which are located in several different villages.
