Slatestone ParkWritten by The-Woodlands-Guide
Though just off of College Park Drive, Slatestone Park is located in the Slatestone Neighborhood, in the Village of Alden Bridge. This neighborhood park is secluded among the trees off of Northway Drive, and includes a crushed gravel nature trail for walking and observing nature at its finest. Slatestone Park takes up an entire block in the Slatestone neighborhood, enough space (1.66ac) to hold 4 or more of an average size home. Recent playground updates includes several play structures that incorporate learning, by number, and letter games. The playground also includes a fun climbing wall and slides. The bench area sits beneath a permanent awning, providing shade year-round, and a large circular path is available in the open sports field for walking or jogging.
