Cranebrook Park Swimming & Splash Pool

Cranebrook Swimming Pool is located at 11800 Cranebrook Dr. in The Woodlands. It’s part of Cranebrook Park, which also has tennis courts, play equipment, and a wheel-friendly area. The pool features a large spray-tower, a wide slide for the kids, and a deeper area (5′) with swimming lanes.  The Cranebrook Pool is a free-form, beach entry pool that features an interactive play structure (rather than a simple splashpad, or sprayground) with a wide, family slide, tumbling buckets and spray features. There is a 36′ x 48′ pavilion with additional shade structures including a covered picnic table.

There are several spray-grounds in The Woodlands which are open to the community, allowing for visitors who want to splash around in the water without actually swimming.

The Woodlands Township Swimming Pools are open daily* during the summer months.

Individual Woodlands Township Swimming Pools are closed one day per week for maintenance and cleanup. Scheduled In-Service Days EACH WEEK during the Regular Season: Each pool is closed for one day per week for safety training, cleaning service, and scheduled maintenance. ** Exception: July 4th: All Pools will be open for “Splash Day”. Pools scheduled for cleaning on Independence Day will be closed on July 5th instead.

Swimming Pool Reservations

Permits are required to reserve swimming pool facilities in The Woodlands. All fourteen swimming pools in The Woodlands, including the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center may be reserved in two-hour increments. Rates for pool rentals vary by pool, and by Woodlands residency status.

Red Hot Blue Pool

The Township’s Red, Hot & Pool celebration on Monday, July 4, 2022! Each pool will have patriotic decorations, activities and refreshments (while supplies last). The Woodlands Red, Hot & Pool will take place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. with the 4th of July activities happening between noon and 4 p.m. Grab your swimsuit and we’ll see you there! Please note, daily fees will apply for Residents and Non-Residents. Entry is free for Season Pool Pass holders.

Where can I buy a Pool Pass?
The Woodlands Township offers three options for purchasing or renewing a Season Pass. Pool pass sales typically begin March 1. Online Registration. Register in person at The Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park or The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park.

The Woodlands Township offers private swimming lessons at multiple pools during specific schedules, throughout the swimming season.

A few of the Swimming Pools The Woodlands Township are home to five swim teams, The Cyclones TAAF Swim Team, The Hurricanes Swim Club, The Riptides Swim Team, The Waves Swim Team, as well as The Woodlands Junior Swim Team, designed to teach the strokes and skills needed to swim competitively with the other teams. The Woodlands Swim Team (TWST), and The Woodlands Marlins (an NWAL team) also call The Woodlands home.
