The Woodlands Skateparks are a part of a larger recreational facility plan, managed by The Woodlands Township, each sporting a variety of equipment and configurations. Wheel Friendly Parks in The Woodlands are great at allowing wheel-friendly enthusiasts of all levels to create a regular exercise routine, while engaging in a fun, community-based physical activity. With more people spending their leisure time bound to a smartphone, it’s more important than ever to be focusing community attention to ways that we can encourage people to get outside and stay active.

Wheel Friendly Park Rules & Regulations

  • Skateboards, in-line skates & BMX freestyle bikes (without pegs) only.
  • Wear all protective gear (helmet, knee and elbow guards) as they are REQUIRED.
  • Skate within your skill limits, and at your own risk.
  • Taking risks won’t impress anyone and you might get hurt.
  • No bikes with pegs, scooters, Heelys or similar footwear
  • Look before you go! Don’t drop in on others!
  • Please leave board wax at home.
  • Be a leader among your peers, keep your language clean.
  • Please keep track of your equipment. You are responsible for your gear.
  • Shoes and shirts required for park usage.
  • Do not bring ramps or other obstacles to the area.
  • Take care of your park and do not litter.
  • Glass and/or alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park areas.
  • If you are between 6- and 10-years-old, bring an adult.
  • Protect your park from abuse.
  • Park hours are dawn to dusk.

Taking risks won’t impress anyone and you might get hurt. Attempts at dangerous tricks and maneuvers that place users more than 3 feet above ground level are not allowed at Wheel Friendly Parks in The Woodlands. Regular bikes or bikes with training wheels are strictly prohibited.

Skateboarding, skating and freestyle bicycling is a potentially dangerous, recreational activities. Use of the wheel friendly facilities in The Woodlands Skate Parks may result in paralysis, brain damage, broken bones, other serious injury, or even DEATH. Any and all use of the equipment is at your own risk. Neither the The Woodlands Township, TheWoodlands.Guide, nor anyone associated or affiliated therewith, is responsible for any injuries that may occur while utilizing the various public resources within The Woodlands Township.

Park Facility Reservations

Permits are required to reserve a public-park-pavilion in any park facility in The Woodlands-Township-Facility reservation requests can be made online.
