Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Parking
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion has five free parking lots off Timberloch Place, a short walk from the gates, and one paid lot right behind the venue, the Gold Lot. Lots open 30 minutes before the gates. Gate times change from show to show, so check the event page before leaving home.
Free parking lots
The Pavilion sends drivers to 2203 Timberloch Place, The Woodlands, TX 77380. It’s the closest large lot to I-45, so it usually fills first. From there, street signs point to the next lot with open spaces, and pathways lead from every lot to The Pavilion’s gates. The venue’s parking map shows five free lots:
- Blue Lot: Timberloch Place at High Timbers Drive
- Green Lot: between Riva Row and Timberloch Place
- Orange Lot: off Grogan’s Mill Road, north of Riva Row
- Yellow Lot: south of Timberloch Place by Grogan’s Mill Road
- White Lot: on the west side of Grogan’s Mill Road
On sold-out nights the closest lots go first, so plan on a longer walk when arriving close to show time.
Paid parking: Gold Lot and garage
The Gold Lot and The Pavilion’s own parking garage sit just behind the venue, entered from 9809 Six Pines Drive. Spaces are limited and can be bought before the show while they last. The venue lists paid parking at typically $45 for concerts and typically $15 for performing arts shows. The Pavilion is cashless, so parking is paid by card. Other paid public garages near Waterway Square, including the Waterway Square Parking Garage and the 24 Waterway Parking Garage, set their own rates.
Where not to park
The lots and garages at Market Street and The Woodlands Mall serve their own shoppers and aren’t Pavilion parking, and neither is the garage next to the Cinemark 17 theater (formerly Tinseltown 17). Visit The Woodlands warns that some nearby businesses tow cars left in their lots during events, so read the posted signs before leaving a car anywhere other than the venue’s lots and garage.
Accessible parking
Accessible parking is free and first come, first served, in the Gold Lot area at 9809 Six Pines Drive. Have the placard or plates on display when pulling in. When it’s full, overflow accessible parking is at 9669 Grogan’s Mill Road. Accessible seating is sold through The Pavilion Box Office and Ticketmaster.
Texas requires a disabled parking placard or a license plate showing the International Symbol of Access (the wheelchair symbol) to use an accessible space, and the person with the disability must be in the vehicle. A Disabled Veteran plate without that symbol doesn’t qualify on its own; since January 1, 2022, those drivers need a placard or a plate with the symbol. Both come from the county tax assessor-collector’s office, and the Texas DMV lists the forms and rules.
Drop-off and pick-up
The Pavilion’s drop-off and pick-up point is 2005 Lake Robbins Drive.

What can I bring?
The Pavilion has a clear bag policy: clear bags up to 12 x 12 inches or a small clutch. Outside drinks, lawn chairs and ice chests stay home, but small blankets and one gallon bag of food per person are fine at most concerts. See the entry rules and bag policy.
Pavilion Parking
Parking is free in the Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue and White lots off Timberloch Place (set GPS to 2203 Timberloch Place), a short walk from the gates. Lots open 30 minutes before the gates. Get to The Pavilion
From Houston, take I-45 or the Hardy Toll Road north and exit Woodlands Parkway. From Conroe, take I-45 south, exit Research Forest Drive and follow Grogan’s Mill Road to Timberloch Place. Other good routes: FM 1488 from Hempstead, FM 2978 from Tomball, and Fish Creek Thoroughfare or McCaleb Road from State Highway 105 near Lake Conroe. Directions.
Sections & Seating
The Pavilion opened April 27, 1990, with 3,000 reserved seats and room for 7,000 on the lawn. A 1995 expansion took it to about 13,000, and the rebuild after Hurricane Ike in 2008 raised covered seating to more than 6,000. Capacity today is listed at 16,500. See the seating chart.
