Falconwing Swimming Pool Village Indian Springs

There are two pools in the Village of Indian Springs, and both of them have a theme. The Falconwing Pool aka the Frog Pool, is one of several throughout The Woodlands that features a wheelchair accessible ramp. Located adjacent to Falconwing Park, Falcon Wing Pool is on Rush Haven Drive between the Interfaith Child Development Center and the Community Christian Church (the Park entrance is actually around the corner on Falconwing Drive). The pool offers fun for children of all ages with the baby slide, a flume slide and a one-meter diving board.

The Woodlands Township Swimming Pools are open daily* during the summer months.

Individual Woodlands Township Swimming Pools are closed one day per week for maintenance and cleanup. Scheduled In-Service Days EACH WEEK during the Regular Season: Each pool is closed for one day per week for safety training, cleaning service, and scheduled maintenance. ** Exception: July 4th: All Pools will be open for “Splash Day”. Pools scheduled for cleaning on Independence Day will be closed on July 5th instead.

Swimming Pool Reservations

Permits are required to reserve swimming pool facilities in The Woodlands. All fourteen swimming pools in The Woodlands, including the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center may be reserved in two-hour increments. Rates for pool rentals vary by pool, and by Woodlands residency status.

Red Hot Blue Pool

The Township’s Red, Hot & Pool celebration on Monday, July 4, 2022! Each pool will have patriotic decorations, activities and refreshments (while supplies last). The Woodlands Red, Hot & Pool will take place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. with the 4th of July activities happening between noon and 4 p.m. Grab your swimsuit and we’ll see you there! Please note, daily fees will apply for Residents and Non-Residents. Entry is free for Season Pool Pass holders.

Where can I buy a Pool Pass?
The Woodlands Township offers three options for purchasing or renewing a Season Pass. Pool pass sales typically begin March 1. Online Registration. Register in person at The Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park or The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park.

The Woodlands Township offers private swimming lessons at multiple pools during specific schedules, throughout the swimming season.

A few of the Swimming Pools The Woodlands Township are home to five swim teams, The Cyclones TAAF Swim Team, The Hurricanes Swim Club, The Riptides Swim Team, The Waves Swim Team, as well as The Woodlands Junior Swim Team, designed to teach the strokes and skills needed to swim competitively with the other teams. The Woodlands Swim Team (TWST), and The Woodlands Marlins (an NWAL team) also call The Woodlands home.
