Splash and Spray Pool in The Village of Creekside Park

In early summer 2013, The Woodlands added its 14th pool to the list of waterworks and great ways to keep cool. The Creekside Park Pool is located at the Wendtwoods Park, the 128th park in The Woodlands. As with all pools in The Woodlands, Wendtwoods Pool has several features that make it unique, and features a zero-depth entry, a current channel, a playscape in the pool with a dump bucket, a lily pad balancing water walk, two lap lanes and plenty of shade. Wendtwoods Pool and Wendtwoods Park are located in the Village of Creekside Park, and are named after Jim Wendt, long-time parks planner for The Woodlands.

The Woodlands Township offers private swimming lessons at multiple pools during specific schedules, throughout the swimming season.

A few of the Swimming Pools The Woodlands Township are home to five swim teams, The Cyclones TAAF Swim Team, The Hurricanes Swim Club, The Riptides Swim Team, The Waves Swim Team, as well as The Woodlands Junior Swim Team, designed to teach the strokes and skills needed to swim competitively with the other teams. The Woodlands Swim Team (TWST), and The Woodlands Marlins (an NWAL team) also call The Woodlands home.

There are several splashpad / spraygrounds
scattered across the Community of The Woodlands.

Park Facility Reservations

Permits are required to reserve a public-park-pavilion in any park facility in The Woodlands-Township-Facility reservation requests can be made online. Currently, only the pavilions are available for reservations. You must pay for your reservation within 7 days of making said reservation, or it will be deleted from the system.
